Poplar Bluff Sho-Me Band

Mr. Jonathan Murphy has been involved in the performing arts as a teacher, director, guest director, performer, adjudicator, arranger, program coordinator, and clinician for concert bands, marching bands, and amusement parks throughout the states of Virginia, Florida and Missouri.

 

As a tubist, Mr. Murphy has had the opportunity to travel and perform nationally and internationally with his quintet Park Avenue Brass and the American Chamber Winds. Mr. Murphy also has an extensive background in audio engineering and production.

 

He owns and operates a company that specializes in the recording and production of performing arts. In his free time, Mr. Murphy loves to spend time with his wife and daughter, make his own sushi, and play in rock bands on the weekends.
